Orphelins Sans Frontières East Africa - Kangemi Resource Center & Mama Africa

Since 2011, the Kangemi Resource Center has operated supporting underprivileged children and their families in an overpopulated informal setting in Nairobi, particularly through education, health and feeding programs. The sewing workshop Mama Africa is a women’s project that intends to empower disadvantaged women within Kangemi slums and help them to earn their living. It gives 10 women an opportunity to be trained on sewing marketable items such as various clothing (skirts, pyjamas, shorts, gowns, ponchos) and accessories (bags, baskets, cases, towels, baby accessories). 

Healthcare, Development and Training Institute

HDTI, located in South Africa, has provided a range of health and community services since their foundation in 2008. These include providing training for community health workers, information and support sessions for employees at their workplaces, organizing and facilitating advocacy campaigns and more recently, through an on-site center and internet cafe, computer courses for local residents, learning support for school children, youth support work, and even a theater.

Since its foundation in 1877, the JRCS has conducted a number of relief operations both at home and abroad pursuing the principle of humanity. The Society’s National Headquarters is located in the heart of Tokyo and supports a nation-wide network of chapters throughout 47 prefectures.

Mpumalanga HIV/AIDS & TB Asociation

MATA is a Voluntary Provincial Non-Profitable Organisation in South Africa that provides Home Based Care (HBC) and Social Assistance to TB and HIV patients and their families. MATA branches comprise of over 600 volunteers, based in over 30 townships throughout the province of Mpumalanga.
