Mission to South-Africa - July & August 2009
This summer Jeroen Masson will travel to South Africa, where he'll spend several weeks working with our partner MATA, one of our collaborating organizations in South-Africa, on the further development of a joint cooperation project. The purpose of the mission is to support the Identification and Formulation stage as part of our role in providing technical assistance and supporting capacity building. Specifically, the two sides will work towards developing an appropriate framework to support the next steps of planning and implementation of a coordinated locally-owned and managed intervention in the field.

Our policy guidelines for providing technical assistance and aid are being developed and will be published here in due course.
LA MARMOTTE 2009 La Marmotte is one of the toughest one-day cycling events in the world. The route is 174 km long, but features more than 5180 metres of climbing. The event goes over the Col du Glandon, Col du Telegraphe, Col du Galibier and finishes at the top of one the most famous Tour de France climbs; Alpe d'Huez. OPEN-UP - 18 April 2009
A fellow NGO, The Refugee next Door, is organizing "OPEN UP", a fundraizing party, on 18.04.2009 at the Manoir, to raise funds for the construction of a school in a refugee camp in Uganda. Famous names of the Brussels and international nightlife will be there:
